Jamie Macfarlane began his winemaking career in Côte D'Or, France and upon returning home he joined the team that created the first Niagara commercial Icewine.  Jamie produced countless award-winning wines during his 25 years as a senior Canadian winemaker and then in 2005, he fulfilled his dream to establish The Ice House and create the highest quality Icewine.

Globally, Jamie Macfarlane is considered to be the world’s most experienced Icewine maker and is an international business consultant for winemaking.
