Effective Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., the government is issuing a province-wide Stay-at-Home order requiring everyone to remain at home except for essential purposes, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services (including getting vaccinated), for outdoor exercise , or for work that cannot be done remotely. More information here. Restaurants will be open for take-out dining only and retail shops are able to have offer curbside pick up only.

Spirit of Niagara Awards
May 2022
The Annual Spirit of Niagara Awards held by the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce will be in May 2022. This year the awards will be held at Ravine Vineyard in their brand new event space.
We are asking for nominations in the following categories:
Celia Liu Award for Excellence in Hospitality
Christopher Newton Award for Extraordinary Vision in Business
Company of the Year Award
Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Award
Peter Ling Award presented to the Entrepreneur of the Year
Lord Mayor’s Award of Excellence Presented to the Citizen of the Year
The Dan Patterson Youth Leadership Award

General Guidelines:
*Niagara-on-the-Lake residents, businesses operating within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and/or members of the Chamber of Commerce are eligible for nomination.
*A business or individual may be nominated for one or more awards.
*A nomination must be accompanied by the nominee’s full name and a description of the nominee’s contribution, achievement or demonstration of community spirit that would qualify them for recognition within the Spirit of Niagara Awards.
The committee shall select those who best qualify for each category from the submitted nominations.
