DIG OUR ROOTS
Dig Our Roots, the annual celebration of the Niagara-on-the-Lake appellation, is set to return for the fourth year on April 22 to 24. Over the course of the three-day weekend, more than 18 partner wineries will offer unique and immersive experiences that showcase our wines, our winemakers and our terroir like never before. This year for the first time there we will welcome guests to the Dig Our Roots Festival on Queen St in the Heritage District of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Dig Our Roots will offer avid wine lovers an exclusive opportunity to discover the rich history and unique terroir of this iconic wine growing region; known for being the birthplace of modern Canadian winemaking and home to some of the oldest and most established premium wine producing vineyards in Canada.
During the Dig Our Roots weekend, guests will discover what makes this place and our wines so special through exclusive winery experiences that have been carefully developed to offer an in-depth look at our appellation, our terroir and the passionate winemakers who have been instrumental in establishing Niagara-on-the-Lake as a premium wine region. Wineries are offering experiences in a variety of formats to cater to diverse preferences – from special library tastings, vertical flights of signature varietals, vineyard focused and behind the scenes experiences and much more. All experiences are individually priced and guests will book them a la carte.

Queen St in the beautiful Heritage District of Niagara-on-the-Lake will be the setting for this years Dig Our Roots Festival.
The Dig Our Roots Festival will give guests an in-depth look at Niagara-on-the-Lake's unique appellation, our terroir and the passionate winemakers who have been instrumental in establishing NOTL as a premier wine region. Wineries will offer samples of their best wines while restaurants prepare samples of their favourite Farm-to-Table offerings.
Tickets can be purchased using the link below and picked up the day of the event or they can be purchased on site the day of the event. Ticket includes 8 tear off tickets to use at any of the wineries or restaurants at the Festival and a glass.

Château des Charmes was founded in 1978 by Paul Bosc, a fifth-generation French winegrower. Paul and his young family arrived in Niagara in the 1960’s with the idea that growing our own grapes was the best way to make fine wine. More than ever, we believe in this Estate Winery model and we make our wine only from grapes we’ve grown ourselves.
When you host an event on our Estate, the Niagara Escarpment and our lush vineyards are your natural back drop.
