Features: Historic Home PB CC A TB Vacation Home

Marrakech Mansion is a registered historic property built in 1860. It also one of the most photographed houses in old town, much admired for its exterior colour scheme and lovely garden. The house retains much of its original charm but has been tastefully renovated to include the conveniences of today.
There is off-street parking for 5 cars, a private courtyard with gas BBQ and a large lawn with several Muskoka chairs for afternoon reading and evening wine tasting.
On the main floor you will find a full kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher plus all of the pots and pans required to cook a meal for 10. There is a Nezpresso coffee maker with one tube of coffee, plus a drop coffee maker with filters. There is also salt and pepper washing liquid and paper towels.
The dining table will seat 8 in comfort as will the large living room. The den is well stocked with books and has a Blue Tooth sound system as well as a large TV with dedicated HD reception and a huge selection of vintage videos. On the main floor you will also find a washer and dryer and half bath.
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, one bedroom has its own three-piece bath. Two of the other bedrooms have queen beds; the fourth has 2 single beds. The main bathroom upstairs has a shower, and a large bathtub. All beds have down filled duvets for winter and lightweight duvets for summer.
The house has central AC as well as Wi-Fi. Queen Street is a short block away as is Queens Royal Park and the mouth of the Niagara River. You will hear revelry played every morning in the summer from Fort Niagara on the US side. Marrakech Mansion is located one block from my second home Casablanca Cottage.
