Lady with a Harp Niagara

A recent graduate of Duke University, Alexis has performed as a professional harpist for over 10 years and currently works as Bravo Niagara! International Music Festival's Director of Marketing & Development.

At age 11, she made her debut in Tampa, Florida alongside her mother, who is a classically-trained Juilliard pianist, as they joined together to form Trio Dolce Vita.

From 2004-2009, she was the principal harpist for FloriMezzo Orchestra and the St. Petersburg Opera Company, with whom she performed Madame Butterfly, La Bohème, and Carmen, among others. In addition to her orchestral work, Alexis performed as a freelance harpist for weddings and special events in the Tampa Bay Area.

In May 2013, Alexis graduated with high distinction from Duke University.  She received her B.A. in International Comparative Studies and a minor in Japanese. During her time at Duke, she studied the Salzedo Method under harpist Laura Byrne and performed as harpist for the Duke Symphony Orchestra.

Since moving to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Alexis has performed as "Lady with a Harp Niagara" for weddings, grand openings, and private events at select venues and vineyards throughout the Niagara Region.

Most recently, she founded Bravo Niagara! International Music Festival with her mother Christine Mori. She currently works as Director of Marketing & Development and is excited to launch their first concert series "Spring into Music @ Stratus," in partnership with Stratus Vineyards and Steinway Piano Gallery Toronto, in April of 2014.
