Nestled in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, The Shaw is one of North America’s finest cultural attractions. Inspired by the wit and passion of Bernard Shaw, the Shaw Festival is a contemporary theatre that features a smart, provocative, potent and diverse mix of plays from the past and present, performed by a talented acting ensemble. Its calendar brims with an eclectic array of quirky comedies, bold dramas and sweeping classics which represent some of the best theatre ever created. 
The Shaw Festival’s 2017 Season features 11 productions presented in the Festival’s four theatres. Highlights includes: the sparkling, toe-tapping Me and My Girl, Bernard Shaw’s
masterpiece – Saint JoanDracula, an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Gothic classic, and The Madness of George III where you can buy a ticket to sit on stage and be part of the king’s court! For young people, participate in the Wilde Tales pre-show workshop and be part of the magic on stage.
