The Niagara Culinary Institute Dining room Operates as a full-fledged, highly reputable restaurant, Niagara College students are exposed to the realistic pressures of preparing delicious meals for paying guests, with the added elements of timing issues, and other everyday aspects involved in running a restaurant.
Students from the Hospitality and tourism programs learn the proper procedures to perform all task related to front and back of the house duties in a restaurant. We always take into consideration that we have to challenge our students to rise to the level of any high-end restaurant.
We have a great culinary and Front of the House professional team who guide and support the level and quality of food, and service. Only Niagara wines are served, and the College's own creations are also featured.
The restaurant offers a rotating menu of 12 different Niagara wineries every year and a four seasons Culinary menu program. The dining room is open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and Wednesday through Saturday for dinner, and students, staff and faculty also cater at community or fund-raising events, as well as to the corporate market.
