Tourism Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) is the official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The DMO leads and builds sustainable tourism by attracting high-yield, low-impact, multi-day, year-round visitors to the Town. Every year, Niagara-on-the-Lake welcomes visitors from across the globe to Canada’s premier wine country, where historic charm, vibrant arts, culture and heritage, exquisite dining, world-class golf, and stunning parks and gardens come together to create unforgettable experiences.
Niagara-on-the-Lake is made up of five distinct communities: Old Town to Heritage District, Virgil, Glendale, St. Davids, and Queenston. Of the town’s more than 3,400 businesses, roughly 22% are part of the tourism sector, highlighting the vital role that visitors play in the local economy.
Tourism Niagara-on-the-Lake is funded through the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT), receiving half of the annual revenue collected by the Town. These funds, along with grants and strategic partnerships, help support marketing initiatives, visitor services, and events that showcase the town’s unique experiences and attract travelers from near and far.
