The 2024 White Effect Dinner

 
Inspired by a spontaneous European summer picnic, hundreds of guests dressed all in white arrive for a chic evening of live music in the heart of Niagara's wine country


Due to adverse weather conditions forecasted for our original event date of June 7th, we have made the decision to reschedule the event to Friday, June 14th to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.


The new date for the event is Friday, June 14th, and it will still be held at Reif Estate Winery from 6pm to 11pm. We understand that this adjustment may inconvenience some of our guests, and for that, we apologize.

If you find that you're unable to attend on the new date, please contact Emelyn Williams, Emelyn@niagaraonthelake.com, with the name of the table purchaser and include any beverages that have been pre-purchased to initiate a refund.

How to Prepare for the White Effect Dinner: 
To ensure a truly memorable time please keep the following in mind:​
Choose from a variety of Niagara-on-the-Lake wines, beers, and ciders. To explore the local options for your table, click the button below.
The deadline for pre-purchasing alcoholic beverages is 12pm on Monday, June 10th, 2024.

​For your convenience, Reif Estate Winery is offering a special menu that guests can pre-order and collect on-site during the event. To explore the delicious options for your table, click the button below.
The deadline to pre-order your food has been extended to Wednesday, June 5th, 2024.

What to Expect on Event Day:

  • You are responsible for bringing your non-alcoholic beverages.

  • No outside alcohol will be allowed, and this will be strictly enforced upon arrival.

  • Let your creativity shine by planning your table décor. Think white, classy, elegant, chic, floral centerpieces. There’s no limit to how extravagant you can be!

  • Coordinate a shared meal experience and bring your fancy picnic meal.

  • Remember that everything must be white!

What to Bring:

  • A white tablecloth for an 8 ft rectangular table.

  • White tableware, silverware and glassware. 

  • Dinner for the table.

  • Non-alcoholic drinks + water. 

  • Garbage bag. All guests must take their garbage away.

  • Wine opener, bottle opener, white napkins for the napkin wave.

  • Comfortable white shoes for dancing on a grassy dance floor.

  • Your fun, festive spirit.

Parking at Reif Estate Winery:
While parking will be available, please be aware that space is limited.
We highly recommend carpooling or utilizing taxi services such as Driverseat Niagara (289-302-3609) or WheelzNiagara (289-296-1966).
 
When you arrive at Reif Estate Winery, a traffic officer will direct you to where to park. The event will take place on the beautiful front lawn.

Once you get to the event tent at Reif Estate Winery, you’ll be greeted by the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce event team. Please identify your name and table number. Tables and chairs will be reserved by your name and table number, as shown on the map when you purchased your table. You may place down your items and proceed to pick up your chilled pre-ordered wine. Set up and decorate your table. Relax and prepare to have a phenomenal evening.
 
Please note that guests and table decorators are welcome to arrive at 5 pm to begin table decorations, and the festivities officially commence at 6 pm. We will see you there!
